ABOUT THE FLYNN

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø Center for the Performing Arts is Northern New England’s premier performing arts center. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø offers a wide range of cultural and educational experiences and nurtures the creative development of performing artists. Our facilities include a 1,439-seat proscenium auditorium (Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø Main Stage), a 180-seat black box cabaret space (Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø Space), two education studios, a gallery with rotating exhibits of regional artists, and adjoining lobbies.

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø hosts over 200 performances yearly. Regularly scheduled performances include the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø season, which features world-class music, Broadway, theater, dance, and family performances on our Main Stage, with additional touring shows added throughout the year and weekday matinees presented through our Student Matinee Series. In addition, we produce and present a variety of projects and performances outside our campus, including the annual Burlington Discover Jazz Festival. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø also provides a performance venue for the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, the Vermont Youth Orchestra, Lyric Theatre, Vermont Stage, and other local arts organizations.

Outbound Rental & Group Sales Manger

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø relies on contributed revenue, ticket sales, and rentals to support its mission. The Outbound Rental and Group Sales Manager will increase Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø’s earned revenue by actively soliciting group ticket sales and cultivating opportunities for facility rentals.

Part-Time Security Staff

Work as part of the Safety Team to ensure the safety of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø staff, guests, patrons, and property.

hOUSE MANAGER

Provide professional service that ensures the well-being and safety of patrons and theatre during Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø Center events. Oversee all front-of-house operations including management of Ushers, communication with the Box Office Manager, and coordination with Rental Company, Stage Manager, and/or Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÉçÇø staff, as well as bar/concessionaires, merchandiser, and caterers.
