Come Curious.
Â鶹´«Ã½ÉçÇø is where the unexpected meets the familiar — where strangers become neighbors through shared wonder. We light up stages and communities alike with performances that inspire and moments that transform. Here, bold art feels personal — and belonging takes center stage.
Â鶹´«Ã½ÉçÇø invites everyone to imagine, create, and connect through the power of live performance.
A vibrant Vermont where curiosity leads, everyone belongs, and the arts open new ways of seeing, dreaming, and being.
Â鶹´«Ã½ÉçÇø commits to building and inclusive, accessible, and imaginative arts environment where everyone can see themselves reflected and feel a sense of belonging.
This commitment reflects our belief that the arts are a vital force for connection, understanding, and change, and that our responsibility as a cultural institution is to serve and reflect the full diversity of our communities.
We commit to presenting a full range of artists, stories, and perspectives on our stages in our programs. We actively seek to support marginalized voices and underrepresented communities.
We commit to identifying and removing barriers to participation. We listen to feedback and adapt our practices to ensure that our spaces, programs, and opportunities are open to all.
We commit to ongoing dialogue — with our audiences, partners, and each other. We stay curious, ask questions, and remain open to growth and change.
We commit to building and maintaining meaningful relationships across Vermont and beyond. Our work is inclusive of voices both local and global, and we aim to be a trusted neighbor and partner.
We commit to learning — together. This includes internal development for our staff, board, and programs that nurture the next generation of artists and cultural leaders. We strive to create opportunities that support a vibrant, sustainable arts ecosystem.
These commitments are dynamic; they are ongoing, evolving, and essential to our mission.
We acknowledge that this theater sits on the unceded territory of the Western Abenaki people who have stewarded this land for generations and continue to do so. We remember their connection to this region and the hardships they continue to endure. We offer respect to the Abenaki Elders and to the indigenous inhabitants of Turtle Island, past and present and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to share in the bounty of this place and to protect it.
